I wish it were that simple. This is only when the front is pulling during a climb. Not turning wheels, just straight climb.

 

Flat suspension or flexed a bit? Flat you shouldn't hear anything but binding can occur under flex and cause something similar.

 

Flat with the exception of going up and I guess the front will not be as compressed as when on level ground.

 

Front DS u joints. When you install a TC drop it changes the pinion angle on the front DS to a less ideal angle. This would explain why it only started after the TC drop. Don't just wiggle the shaft. Take it out and give it a good inspection. Probably wouldn't hurt to change them anyways odds are they are the factory units.

 

That makes sense but wondering why it didn't do this with the 3" lift without TC. Doesn't adding the TC reduce the angle back more towards stock ? Or I guess since its basically tilting the the engine, trans and tc back maybe its actually increasing the angle a bit more ?

Will still check it all out. My hack n tap shipped today. Maybe I could remove the front shaft at the time and use it to test fit for the rear.

 

A TC drop makes your rear angle better but your front angle worse.

 

Thanks. That explains it. That should have been the last time I go out with the TC drop. Only installed it Friday for the weekend riding to improve rear shaft angle (highway vibration). Would have probably been better without it. Hack N Tap will be on and TC out before I go out again.

Alright. I'm stuck. I tried for about an hour to remove the nut that attaches the hard brake line to the brake hose. Nut is completely frozen up on the passenger and driver's side. I tried regular open-end wrench, fuel line wrench, soaked them both with 3m penetrating oil (basically PB), then hit them with vice-grips.

Thought about hitting them with heat, but I don't have a torch. The only thing I have is a heat gun or a butane cigar lighter. Neither of which are going to work, at least I don't think they will.

Does anyone have any other ideas? - Oh, by the way - the driver's side is now rounded off.

 

Torch or those little tank torch will work just fine with a pair of vice grips. That should do the trick

 

Guess I can see if I can borrow one from someone. Not something I can afford any time soon. :/
