It's almost like the Jeep needs to be preloaded and I may have takin the pre load out when I installed everything. I don't have pictures yet but will get them. The drag link and Trac Bar and almost even angle, very very close. Maybe my Trac bar or entire setup is wrong or two short or ? Take a pic of your suspension setup from the front

I am looking at installing a Metalcloak 3.5" lift and was wondering it the extra lift would allow me to run 32/11.50R15 tires without any trimming. Also if I run the 31/10.50 tires will I have enough clearance with the stock rims. Thanks
I have the Metalcloak kit and I'm running 31s on stock wheels. What was said is correct, you will rub your LCAs at full lock. Now the gold zinc coating on the arms are slightly worn off. I'm just waiting on my rock monsters to get here and solve that. You will also rub the inside of the rear fender well at full flex. The kit itself is Awesome! Very impressed with it. I would highly recommend shackle relocation brackets and then 0.75" spacers in the front to level it out. Once I regear and the fenders are trimmed and flared, I'll be moving up to either 32x11.5 or 33x10.5 not sure yet.

But it'll end up looking like this in the end...

Can adjust the steering stops on axle to prevent this.

Hey Guys.

I'm currently running 31x10.50r15 BFGs. One of my tires is almost done for and the other 3 are in 75%+ shape still (previous owner swapped out the spare so that's why 3 are good and 1 is bald)

I'm looking to step up to 32x11.50r15 and I was considering going with the Kenda Klever MT. Anyone here running those tires? I see some pretty great reviews out there for them and I can get a set of 4 for $616.

When I make the move on new tires I will have the 3 good 31"s for sale as well. Hit me up if you're interested in buying them, I can provide pics and I can also ship.

I've got em on my tow rig. Different size (285/75/16) and they have done well so far. Only had em about 500 miles but they ride good and the road noise ain't too bad. Good tread pattern too. Now a tire that I am having good luck with is the mastercraft courser mxt. Same size as you want. Awesome tread wear and good ride. I have em for around 8k miles and they look brand new.

where'd you get your mastercrafts? for some reason, they seem hard to find around here.

Local shop. Just find a mom and pop tire shop that doesn't keep tires in stock. They are usually cheaper and can order just about anything. You can get em online as well

I'm going to instal my SYE today and I was wondering if it's easier to just pull the tcase or just do it with the tcase still in.

I had no trouble installing mine while still in. Hardest part is the snap ring removal off the main output shaft

the snap rings were my only real concern, everything else looked doable on my back. Any trick you discovered for the rings?

Use lock ring pliers from O Reilly's.

Are the jamb nuts tight? There is no reason for it to be loose.

Center the trac bar and tighten the hell out of them.

A vice with a towel as not to distort anything, lock ring pliers, and patience. The front lock ring wasn't difficult just the large one holding the gears in place. The dust shield was a pain but just took a pry bar and hammer to get it out the way
