Hello all. I purchased the Autozone shackle that most said is a direct bolt on. In my case they're not. The bushing sleeve is too wide, as is the spring eye end. I've searched and found one guy saying he had to grind down the sleeve to get the upper part in but can't find any info on the other end that goes on the spring eye. Can I just go buy a bunch of washers to fill the gap (probably a good 1/4 inch on either side) which will probably mean 2-4 washers per side per shackle? Here's the poor pic from Autozone. I have these. I grinded the top and just tightened the bottom down. It pulled the sides in and flushed up pretty well. I've had no issues with them yet. Been running them for about a year now

Cool. Thanks. Which holes did you use and how much lift did it give. Also read that some had issues with it rubbing the exhaust. Did you experience this? If so, how did you fix it?

I used the tallest setting (bottom holes) and originally netted about 3 inches, which my leafs are worn so I'm sitting at about 2.5 now. the exhaust does chatter on it sometimes. I haven't done anything to it as its not that big of a deal to me. You could simply cut about 3-4 inches of your tail pipe and it'd be fine

Ok I'll start with a sample so those who can't read can hopeful learn by example.. I mean that in the nicest possible way..

The lift is great has a nice stance and was pretty complete. One thing you have to do is at a 3/4" poly coil spacer to level the front out. In the end I ended up with about 4.5" of lift front and back. The sway bar end links suck as well. Good concept but the bushings tore up on me. That's ok it needs quick disconnect end links anyways. I plan on going with some from JKS.

The shocks well they ride rough but they are solid shocks. If I had it to do over I would have gone with Bilstein's or Monotubes, maybe even OME shocks.

There that's a good example of what you should at a minimum..
