Nevermind I'm dumb. Once tires are off front it should be fine when I drop It on jackstands . I don't think rotors will come all the way down

They shouldn't if the stands are big enough. Disconnecting the trackbar on the axle end will help with droop

I'm doing this tomorrow or Saturday. Sunday? Soon: just waiting for some sunshine. Keep us (me!) posted on stuff. Pix?

...and then, when I see what the height is, I'll have to do it again (probably), to add spacers.

...I really hate driving with the back being taller than the front.

What on my 3" kit is compatable with the 4.5" I plan to put on? What do I need for the back lift?

It depends on the kit. What lift do you have now?

Anyone ran a setup like this? Looks like good droop. Just make shakle lock in for street duty, then pull a pin or somethin for the trails. Anyone running a setup like this?

That's just springs and arms, you need shocks, track bar, brake lines, leaf springs, and a sye and drive shaft or transfer case drop if you get driveline vibrations.

Impact made short work of mine, and they hadn't moved for 25 years.

Don't have one now. If I leave stock ones on and move forward for now can they go on after?

breaker bar? shouldn't be that hard...maybe a little heat to free up the rust?

That's not advised. If you drop the control arms and track bar as well as take the bolts out of the front brake line mounts and straighten the hard lines you should be able to just pull the spring out if you articulate it enough. Thats how i just did mine, however i took off all 4 control arms.. Just remember not to destroy the threads on the control arm bolts, they're 10.9 grade bolts.

Does anyone know if an alignment shop adjusts the track bar when they do an alignment? I got my track bar pretty close to where it needs to be, but its still off some, and I know it'll screw with my alignment if i change it once the alignment has already been done.

x2 at breaker bar. I used a 3 foot piece of extra pipe from our pool as a cheater and they came loose easily.
