Default I need help!

Im looking to put 18x9 rims with LT285/65R18 trail grappler tires on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. What is the smallest lift/spacers that I would need in order to get by with putting these on?

im peicing together a 4.5 in lift and was wondering if quick discos for the sway bar woould eliminate me having to buy or make the drop bracketrs. jeep is a weekend warrior but dd everyday. so no sway bar isnt an option

From what I've been told since the output shaft is farther from the axle itself the angle created when lifting 3" is less steep than if the shaft was going into a transfer case

It has happened more than you think. And if not the shaft, the u joints go from the bad angle and then when the DS whips,other stuff.breaks.

Morning Y'all, Im lookin to put some new shoes on the jeep this week. Any suggestions? I'm looking for 30 A/T's with a real aggressive tread. Right now I have some very used Iron man electra A/Ts, cant say much about them other than they are quiet and look to have a worthy tread pattern. I got them very worn off craigslist on a set of 17'' Grand Ysplit rims with the gold splits, I bought them for the rims now its time to wrap them with something worthy. I don't want to hear a lot of road noise or see a huge drop in MPG, this is my DD and maybe sees mud once a month. I'm headed to river ranch this weekend for the first time and thought I'd test out a new set of rubber. What are you riding? and where do you buy?

Grabbers are great, not great in mud, but that's any at. The grabbers clean out if you really skinny pedal it lol.

Better than most AT's. But not much even in medium depth mud. That's about it though. GOOD in everything else I've come across. This stuff was my main concern with the wife having to get to work.

Hello lift gurus, I have never had a lift before so I have some questions:

I have a 2001 XJ limited. I am looking at buying Rough Country's 3" lift: http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep-sus...70-config.html
My goal is to simply have more clearance, more capability in deep snow, and if I do a bit of off-roading. Also, I want a meaner look. It is my daily driver and I am expecting twins in October, haha. I don't do any serious rock crawling or mudding, so I don't want to cut the fenders or anything like that. Will this lift kit satisfy my needs? Is ther anything that would be a necessity? Like control arms? Is this too much lift?

I want to run 31" tires, but I want to keep my stock rims, which are 16". I am having a hard time finding this size tire. What would be a good tire to get?

A dedicated mud tire is also good in deep snow but will wear faster on the highway if that concerns you. If it does you might want to check these out.

As far as the RC kit goes they don't seem to be very popular around here.

A 245/75/16 or 285/75/16 should be pretty close. The Fierce Attitude MT is an amazing tire. Does great in any condition you throw at it and last along time on a DD alot longer then most MTs do.

3" Lift would be just fine for your application. For 31's on a 16" rim you will find there are many passenger tire options if you don't plan to venture offroad.
