Hello, if I bought a new set of coils to fit a ZJ with a V8 & has an UpCountry lift, instead of just new Heavy Duty Coil springs for my XJ. Then bought NEW Heavy Duty Leaf Pack 7" Arch, would these be a perfect fit as far as even matching front to rear height? To alleviate having to use no spacers on the front to match the new rear Heavy Duty LP. I really don't want to go much more than stock at this point, because I don't want to many mods or headaches from lifting. I've been reading, studying, thinking and repeat. I came across the "ZJ & XJ" Front "Spring Swap" and came up with the idea. Just want to know if it will be a success. Thanks for any input.
The ZJ spring I would assume is going to net you about 2.5-3". Normally the springs do 1.5-2" so if you add the 1" for up country then there you go.

From what I understood, the Heavy Duty replacement packs by Quadratec or EMU would give a little lift to the rear, an inch or so.Thats why I thought to use the ZJ coil swap to even it out. I want a little beefier suspension with a small lift. Figured from what i've read this would be my best bet to stay as close to stock as possible.

I'm looking to lift my XJ by ~4".
What is the proper method to pick a leaf spring and/or shackle? Is the only objective a 45 degree shackle angle?
Would a 3" leaf spring + 1" extended shackle provide a better shackle angle than a 4" leaf and the stock shackle?
Thanks for your time

The standard way to go is a 3" leaf pack with an extended shackle.

Will a 36x12.5 TSL fit in the rear of my Jeep with 3.5" lift and stock steel wheels? Im looking at running these TSLs all the way around but worried about fitment in the rear even with the fenders cut and folded.

Will zj leaf springs work as a lift option for the rear on a 98 XJ? I plan to do the front coil swap so if I can get the leafs while I'm at it that would be great. Thanks for the help
