You need to not buy junk rc parts, because their bushings and tie rod ends wear out under normal conditions.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need a 6" lifted Jeep to get around in the winter?

Well after looking on CL for 2 months, this Jeep popped up 6 hrs south of me and it looked nice, not bad condition for a Jeep, $1200 tires and low mileage now at 93,xxx miles. What should I have payed for the jeep?

KBB is crap for everyday numbers. A stock, good condition, 99 Cherokee can be had for 4k...

The fact that it's half *** lifted negates the fact that it has a lift at all.

The book means nothing, nice lifted xjs go for 4000 all day long. Look at the fs section of this sight.

Looks like the RE heim joint is self lubricating so not sure why it wore out. I get an extra for myself.

Well I paid $3700 for the Jeep. So it seems like I got a pretty good deal then.
