@ zInk7: Idk man.. Doesn't sound like anybody knows. Get more specific info. Post a pic of exactly what your talking about. If it was popular or a good idea it would be common. What's wrong with good leafs, properly angled shackles and some properly measured Bilsteins? I'd say disregard your buddies info. Doesn't sound like he's familiar with XJ's. Dunno..

Looking to lift my stock XJ 2/3" im running 30s and maybe 31s in the future but the 30s have alot of tread. I have 2" coil spacers already but the shocks front and back are shot. The rear leaf pack is shot too, im looking for a new leaf pack and shocks at least, I also dont mind a rake in the back of up to 1" Any suggestions and ideas? I have 400 about to spend maybe a little more.
So I decided to go with an Iron Rock 4" long arm lift kit. Do I have to worry about the drive shaft falling out with all the flex? I will do the SYE eventually but was hoping to put it off till next spring and do the lift kit now.
Sorry for all the noob questions. I have a 99 btw. It has a 1 inch t-case drop already.

The rear driveshaft? Probably not. Especially if you have a bad shackle angle. I'd be more concerned about my long arms though.

A 10mm bolt keeping your axle from folding back under the Jeep in the IRO long arm kit. And The castor adjuster POS. Look into what you bought and do some research.

Now, you're about to see 15 IRO owners come bust in here and say it's the best thing since sliced bread but it's not.
If you desire I can go into the long list of flaws that it has.
