So temping to make a joke about how bumpstops are the end-all be-all solution.

If the track bar does need to be replaced, I'm a huge fan of the Iron Rock Offroad double shear track bar. It's the only one I'll personally buy because I'm biased.

As for the drive shaft, you might need a Slip Yoke Eliminator on your transfer case. There is a ton of info online about SYEs and how they work. I don't have a handy link, though.
Thanks a ton for all the information, I've been busy but I'm back now. So the track bar is missing the bearing seal and is at an angle hitting the bracket because of that it doesn't have any info on it so I don't know what brand it is I asked the guys at #1 auto and they looked and couldn't, the adjustment part of it is on the drivers side and with rough country it's on the passenger side so I'm thinking they either put it on backwards or its a different brand? I haven't figured out what brand yet. Once I get that fixed I plan on seeing if it still wobbles and if it does then I'll get the tires balanced.

I've heard of SYE kits seams like the way most people go but pretty expansive I had a local 4x4 mechanic suggested that I should bring it to him and have him drop the transfer case and shim the rear axle they said it would be better and cheaper thoughts?

Also I would really like to find out what brand the track bar is so I can just replace the one end and not have to replace the whole thing.

sorry for being so long there, Thanks in advance!

I can't imagine why you would need 10" of bumpstop on a 4" lift.
I following a old xj build I had. But I was hoping to use these shocks. Itll only have a couple inches of up travel. Once up travel is limited it will force the other side down so there is my droop. Especially after I have long arms ill have a ton of down travel with everything im putting under the jeep. Just dont want the shocks limiting to much. Ill probably just go to a ramp and unhook the shock. Sounds like thats the only way ill know

Yes, figure out how much travel you need. Then get shocks to match.

Given that people's springs fall out without straps on long arm kits I'm think about 13 foot long shocks.

You might have to run those through the floor

Go to the hardware store and buy bolts?

There are 4 bolts on each end of the shaft. The axle side uses 4 bolts the same length, and 2 straps. The t case side just uses 4bolts, no straps. I'm not sure if they are the same size a the ones on the axle side or not.

OK, so after overcoming several issues with the SYE I bought I'm finally ready to cut the xfer case output shaft, but I put everything up and the drive-shaft seems like it's borderline long enough. The slip-yoke in the shaft has about 6" of travel and I have to extend it about 5" inches. Is 1" left over enough?

okay so I still can't figure out what kind of track bar I have i belive it's a rough country but I'm not sure and it has no markings on it also the ball joint is on the left side and I belive the rough country one is on the right side so unless it's installed backwards I don't know I was hopeing to be able to order just the adjustable end rather then the whole track bar. is there any good ways to figure out what brand it is? I can post some pictures later. I'm guessing it's rough country tho becuase thats what the rest of the lift is but I wan to be sure before I go and order [arts for it

Holy Jesus punctuation and proper sentences... Look up some pictures of each companies track bar and find the one that matches the best. I'd be surprised if you found marking or labels.

Looking in the rc 3inch lift and the 4.5 inch lift. both with add-a-leaf. What different mods between the two lifts would I have to do? thanks for any info!

At 4.5 you will need brake lines, LCA's, t case drop or SYE, adjustable track bar, and longer sway bar links.

At 3" you can get away with stock components even though it isn't recommended...

Oh and you're getting full leaf packs, not AAL's.

Hahah I'm going to take that as a good thing.

I found that I need new lifted leaf springs the ones that are in it are junk yard made and put together wrong at that so I'm going to fix them first.
I also had a friend of mine whos a mechinic look at it and at first he said I just needed a new bushing for it and that the bar should be fine once I straighten it in the bracket we'll see I'll keep you posted.

I'm thinking about making a post/thread build for it, it's deffently gonna be a bigger project then I thought, but I'm gonna enjoy it
