Lol. I have $1800 in suspension and other parts waiting to go on my wheeler. Plus other stuff. Hell my DD still needs rear upper shock bolts drilled out on one side so it can have two rear shocks. I gotta to-do list longer than a toilet paper roll. Warm weather is here though. Hopefully by the end of the day I will have a sye in the 231 ready to swap in my wheeler with the long arm crossmember.

So yea, time that's why I'm not gonna order it.

Ok I have absolutely no clue about Xj's. I am looking to buy one as a play truck. I want 31-33's... How much lift do I need? Which lift should I get?

depends - are you willing to trim the fenders?

I'm running 33s on 4.5" of lift with fenders trimmed ~1.5", and i could fit 35s if I wanted to.

i'd say 3-4" minimum if you're ok with trimming. Depends on the setup also.

Hey guys...

I'm planning on putting my RE 3.5" lift on tomorrow, but my trackbar hasn't come yet. It'll be here early next week. I'm only going to drive it a few miles before the bar comes and I can put it in. Will my Jeep be unsafe to drive with the stock trackbar?

With a 3" budget lift I should be able to run 31-32's right? Would you recommend a budget lift?

You should just get a 3" kit.
3" leaf packs, and 3" coils. Shocks, and youll be good.
31s with no trimming, 33s with trimming.

yes. I recommend a budget lift that does not involve blocks or add-a-leafs in the rear.

And "budget" is relative...at a minimum you will need new springs up front, new shocks on all 4 corners, and lift springs for the rear. Ideally you would also want longer LCAs, a new longer trackbar, longer brake lines, and longer swaybar links

I agree with Dukie. When I think of BB (spacers & shackle/AAL) I think of 2" lift or less. If you want to do 3" I suggest springs & shocks.

Yeah I mean just my opinion but I don't really see why ppl even do the bb lifts bc for a little more change you can have a "complete" 3inch lift

Totally agree. Do it right. Don't piece together your xj. Brand new parts.
