Default 97+ Header panel on 94 XJ?

Would the switch be easy? Or would I have to modify other parts to get this done?

It bolts on. No mods needed that I know of.

Apparently changing fenders is also required to keep the body lines smooth. I think old style has an angled corner at the top whereas 97+ is rounded.

Thanks for the replies guys. Doubtful, but does anyone have a picture of a 97+ header panel, on an older XJ, without changing fenders?

i used a 99 clip with fenders on my 90.
the 97+ uses two marker/signal lights under the headlights, where as my 90 (and your 94) only uses one. so i simply just put the one in. i clipped the other socket off the 99 harness and installed that into the other hole, just to seal it up.
then as for the side markers, i rednecked the 90 bulb/socket into the lens with some tape if i recall, as the older socket is slightly different. i have had no problems with the fit for the few years i've had it.

so yeah, it's as easy as it gets. but go for the newer, rounded fenders for a clean fit and finish.
