94 XJ rear disc swap
I have a 94 XJ non ABS that I'm putting together, and I have access to a friends wrecked 96 ZJ [front end damage] with rear disc with ABS. Will these work on my XJ? What parts will I need to take off the ZJ? Do I need any additional parts? Are there any mods I need to do? My friend is willing to give me any brake parts I need, He's pulling the complete drive train then taking the rest to the scrap yard, so I have one shot to get what I need from the ZJ. I appreciate any help from someone who has done this.

Yes it'll work. If you google it you'll find a ton of answers on this... Take the backing plates, calipers, hardware, knuckles and pads/rotors. You'll need to open up the hole on the ZJ backing plate to fit over an 8.25 axle. If you want to take the prop. Valve.. I never did on my XJ and have yet to see a need to.

Thanks, I did look, and after all the "this works, that doesn't, have you ever done it before" replies, I figured I would give it a shot with my specifics. Tanks again for the details you gave me , i have a good start. What about parking brake cables?
