Default Swaybar Height

Heya,

Was wondering where the swaybar should sit with a 6.5 inch lift.
I thought I saw someplace it was to remain level regardless of lift.

Here is how mine sits now, you can see the bolt sometimes hits the firewall and makes a dent. Was thinking about making it sit level.

That your inner fender, not firewall. Firewall is behing your engine.

I'm not even sure how that's happening. Are you flexing when this happens? You should unhook the disconnects when offroad.

Most people remove the inter fenders to start with for clearance and will be when disconnect the SB.

Mine hit similar to the photo just from driving over speedbumps, etc. IIRC, 15 degrees above level is recommended, lift height regardless.

Thank you for actually answering the question that I asked, it's much appreciated.

From the looks of it, it may be perhaps at the 15 degrees above level now? If not, it's not much more above 15.

And yes, I disconnect when wheeling, but sometime the road to the trails have some potholes or such. I guess I'll disconnect when leaving pavement now.

Using the Inclinemeter on my phone it looks, to be sitting at 22 degrees, perhaps due to the lowering blocks I installed last week.

15 degrees appears to be even with the bottom of the frame ... or 1 inch lower.

I'll make those adjustments tonight.

I don't think prescision is necessary here. It's more important that the swaybar components not come in contact with anything unintended.
