longer brake lines

After a RE 3.5 netting 4.5 of lift, I want to extend the front lines. I bought mid-90's YJ lines which seemed the same but about 4 inches longer, but when I went to mock them up for fitment, it seemed like they would be way too kinked at normal ride height.
The problem seems to be that the YJ lines are longer because the hard line portion coming off the caliper is longer and the rubber part is about the same. So at normal ride height the rubber hose has to make 2 really sharp bends to connect to the existing hard lines attached to the inner fender, not to mention under compression.
Any ideas? I know tons of people have done this before, did you see the same thing and just go for it, or what? Did you bend up the hard lines on the inner fender?

Take some real large zip ties (wide, length don't matter)make a 2 inch loop around the break line with one or to where it slides freely, then with another, zip it tight to the shock body. Just judge where you need it be where it keeps it out of the tire and spring
