Hey Guys I need some help here. I purchased a set of Rustys 6.5 leafs a while back from CL. They have the rustys part numbers on them and everything but they look like someone made a bastard pack out of them by adding leafs, however, im not sure. They look like they have way too many leafs in them. does anyone know how many should be in a pack?

 

From here it looks like a Rusty's leaf pack with a long Add-a-Leaf added in the middle.

The AAL probably went in to add height to the rear when the P.O. added the coil spring spacers.

I'd leave the AAL and spacers out when you install it.

 

Deff a extra leaf mine have 6 looks like theres 7 in those.

 

Well I called rustys and they confirmed that there should only be six so I went home on my lunch break and counted them. One has 8 leafs while the other has 9. However when I called rustys I got the lengths off each leaf the should be in the pack. So hopefully when I break them down all the leafs are there. And the guy I bought the lift from said that the coils were 4.5" and the spacers were 2" I already got them in the installed in the front though so I guess I'll find out what size they really are when I get the rear together.

No boomerang 1.5s wonder why one has 9 other 8 sounds like sag issue trying to be band aided not trying to throw stick in spokes .

 

Well I pulled the leafs apart and removed the added leafs. They are defiantly sagging fortunately my buddy just ordered a set of 4.5" RC leafs that I'm buying off him. And my other friend has a set 2" shackles from his old lift. Learned my lesson never buying from Craigslist again.

 

So guys I need some more help I broke the welded nut on the front leaf hanger and my brother decided to just cut the bolt completely out leaving the rest of the bolt and the welded nut in the bracket any ideas on what to do

Check out this vid the guy has the same ptoblem around the 3 min. mark and comes up with a pretty nice looking repair. Hope it helps
