you can make anything fit with enough trimming, my buddy ran 33's on stock suspension he just had to cut alot of fender and bumpstop

Whats the point in running 33s on a stock jeep any way? Even if you trim the heck out of it to fit with no rubbing want flexing hit the top of the fenderwell? I just dont see the reason of even trying this. Bigger is not always better.

There is a guy with 2" lift and 37's

And you can flex the snaought out of it, down travel is more important than up travel really.

LOW center of gravity is the name of the game.

Rock gardens need more lift, but your average wheeler should have a LCG, your your tires are what goes over the obstacle. your lift is what keeps you off of sheet metal. and that is what skids are for.

and like you said, bigger is not always better.

The lower your center of gravity the lower your roll over angle is. that is why tube buggies are as low as possible and dont have crazy lift (unless you live in texas )

I also like to point out that you would need wheel spacers. I've got 32x11.5's and I can't even bolt them on without my 1 3/4" wheel spacers. Fronts maybe but rear not happening.

You CAN do it. Do you wanna spend the money on all the stuff(bumpstops, spacers, trimming) or just lift it a little. You'll pry end up spending less headache by just lifting but if you've got an extra vehicle to drive while you mod then I guess your good.

With minimal cutting on front fender 33sx12 with no rubbing no lift

Youl have to do all the same work to clear 33s on 2-4" only difference is your at stock height will ride and handle much better youl have less money into it with a better outcome.

with factory fenders intact you won't be able to steer on flat ground.

Cut and fold may get you there, like others have mentioned wheel back spacing will fight you. But it does to with a lift.

4.11 gears is a bit too little, but it does work for me, at least I got a super high ratio transfer case. 4.56 is a good choice for the diffs with 33 inch tires. I think I prefer to have a 4.56 ratio, but 4.11 is what I got and it is livable. off road I got a 4.11 low range gear.

I think 4.10 would work well for most street driven jeeps on 33s.

Im on 33s 4.88 3000rpm at 65mph . Most would probly like to go 80mph. Im fine driving 65 and my jeep sees 90% dirt.

4.56 would only very slightly raise my top speed.
