I bought a 3" Zone lift for my xj and didn't get control arms. From what i heard you don't have too but it will cause them to wear out a little faster and causes a rough ride. I am going on a year and no issues so far. The zone leafs are short though so i ended up buying the HD Shackle Relocation box and cut out the old one. It is no amazing kit by anymeans but for a budget kit it isn't bad for $500

It will work without adjustable arms but will function better and be stronger with adjustable arms and a professional alignment.

Agreed

To be honest I hate rough country shocks I wrecked the pretty quick. I wouldn't buy the kit for that alone. They have a crappy warrinty as well. Really happy with my Sirius off-road long arm kit. They are quick to respond, excellent customer service I'd skip the short arms if I could do it all over again and go straight for the long arms as for a full kit one time I've yet to do it I've just been piecing it together over the years.

The Rustys is the "ONLY" kit made in NA and has the best coils leafs. All the kits come with cheap shocks and need improvement.

Yeah, stay away from RC, cousin had some problem with them in less than a year. He just got JKS lower adjustable from 4WheelOnline.com and works great at 2 months now.
