1998 power windows not working
OK I went and tried to roll my windows down and the switches aren't lit up. All the windows roll down with the drivers switch but they don't roll down with their door switch.

Look where the wires go from the drivers door to the body. they usually crack from the door being opend and closed all the time. I had the same problem and ended up having to splice a bit of wire on to all the wires for the door locks and windows.

It might be the child safety lock on the dr control. thats what happened to mine. You could take it apart and bypass the switch or change the whole master switch.

This is your issue, the window locks suck on our xjs...fix it with this link, I did it and have never had to screw with the windows so far...I had the same exact problems as you do.
