i found someone. Sellling 1 ton steering for my xj with heim joints, can I convert the joints to tre joint? Only asking because it’s a good deal.

It’s possible. Just need to figure out what the thread pitch is and odds are you would have to ream the knuckles out for bigger TRE’s

If you are going to all that trouble, just do it from scratch there are kits available for that.
It’s a cav fab kit and I know I can beat the dude up on the price. I know it’s a lot of work just thinking if it’s worth it. Prob not. Anything is better then stock hottie steering
