Default Tire size comparison

Hello guys i have a question, i have looked and researched and maybe im doing it all wrong. But i have a 1991 xj with a 3 inch lift, im wanting to get bigger tires then what i have . Currently i have 235/70/ 15, which are in need of replacing, i want to run 31's. I just got a set of 265/70r16 bridgestone blizzak tires given to me. So i was wondering if these would fit without triming the fenders or rubbing? Thanks for the help

they will work....but that is a snow tire. Perhaps save them for winter use?

I have a 98. With a 3.5inch lift I still had a tiny bit of rubbing with Procomp M/T 31 X10.50" A little plastic trimming made it work. I would think you would be fine if you're okay doing some trimming.
