I know, its sort of an Xj. In order for it to go that quick there isn't much XJ left.
Anyone on here know where you can buy a supercharger kit for the XJs?

Damn, all I have right now is a $20,000.00 bill, will they have change for that?
Actually that doesn't sound that bad for an installed supercharged engine....Might keep that in mind.

Yeah mine seems plenty fast. In town it seems very powerful and quick the only thing is about 55-70 takes what seems like forever. However, It may just be because I was used to driving my moms suburban with a 5.3L V8 in it that really is quick for a truck. That thing hits 80 quicker than anything I have ever driven.
My jeep smokes a lot of cars when i'm cruising around. It's not as fast as my old 1991 300zx, but it suprised the crap out of me when i first stomped on the gas and spun her wheels.

I've owned two xjs one was a 95 and my current love is a 01. Both would straight up skoot. But i have alot bigger tires on my 01 so i believe it effects it a little bit. At the same time it feels like im haulin ***** in my 01, even if im doing sixty mph. I dont remember that in my 95?!?!

Keeping it all in perspective....Jeeps are not fast except for the SRT8...that is quick! My magnum is not the quickest car...but after driving the Jeep for a while and getting in the 4100lb sled with all the comforts and gadgets of a pretty high end car....I can't complain. Comparing a 4 banger turbo to a 2 ton vehicle? Put it up against a SRT4 caliber with a few mods. That would be a good match up, as long as you like torque steer. Personally I like big cars with V8's and rear wheel drive. I need all the room for my kids, dog and hockey bags!
. . .but since it has slicks the jeep does the burnouts around town and it'll spin the 33's pretty well
