there was a cold icy morning a few weeks ago and i was drifting the employee parking lot in all 5 gears! stock size tires. there was nobody else in the parking lot or i wouldnt have even tried it! the shift light wasnt on at all so my rpms were relatively low. idk if i could do it now with 3.07's and 33's

My 98 has no problem smoking the 31's with intake, exhaust and a chip. Not many small imports can beat it from a set of lights when they are trying to get past in a lane that closes. The XJ is OK, but if I want to go out on a sunny day and go fast (or at the racetrack) I take my mustang.

Mines pretty quick. It's funny to surprise all the ricers with their modded civics when I beat them off the line and up to about 40mph without even really trying! The 4.0HO is a beast of a motor.

Coming from my VW days.... I would have to say that my jeep.... Its slow. There is nothing wrong with it, it runs like a top and does everything as it should, It even has an intake and a high flow exaust, But I cant call it fast. Althouh I did Recently drive a Renix, and i was shocked at the lack of power it had compared to mine.
I mean this suspension/ Fab stuff is fun and all, But horsepower and Boost give me boners.

9.1 with a cherokee in the 1/4, impressive but would be better if it had stock suspension and that's probably not even the stock engine. 4.0 w/ mods would make it just that much more awesome.
I believe you meant to say 9.1 in the 1/8th. Lol if i had a 9 second in the 1/4 mile XJ, it'd be slammed with slicks on all 4 corners lol.
