You ever been told " That jeep aint gona make it"
My favorite:
last winter there was a Subaru Forrester stuck in the parking lot. They were high centered on some hard packed snow. And of course because they have all-wheel-drive they don't need winter tires. They went "oh well I don't know, that Dodge Durango just tried and didn't have any luck."
Ha ha ha. It was true! The Subby hadn't moved an inch and there were spin marks all over the place where that Durango and tried and tried and failed and failed..
Four-wheel-drive and literally no wheelspin and that Subby was free! boo-ya XJ's!!!
The lady, my coworker, was about to call a tow service as well... Crazy expensive! Who needs that when you got THE recovery vehicle right?

This winter we had one snowstorm that turned into ice. I was delivering food during it and pulled into a ladys driveway that was on an incline. She freaked out about me backing down it because "her husband has an expedition and slid the whole way down." I told her don't worry, I have a jeep and backed right down it without sliding. Then I drove right past a camry spinning tires on a little tiny hill

My jeep with the Wrangler radials does great in the snow, I barely slide or slip at all unless i get a heavy foot. the winter before I got new tires I had bald street tires and it would still go, but I would slide all over the place in turns...even with 500lbs of weight in the back but it was fun.

We only got one big snow storm this past winter, and it was in October... Lame.
I was actually surprised with these Wrangler radials. I honestly thought a few times I was going to be screwed going up that road with them on. However they've held up, and have kept from loosing chunks out of their tread over those rocks. I wish they wouldn't wear so fast on the pavement though. For performance, I don't think you can beat the price. Will probably need to get a new set before this winter. I don't think the weather's going to be as kind this year 'round.

there is so many time that people have doubted on my xj every time so far they have eaten there words. favorite one was on new years night got invited to a hill climb there was six other rigs they all looked at me like what are you goin to do i was the midget of the group sitting on 4" of lift and 33s. well i lined up for the climb the first two tries i made it two thirds of the way up. jeep started to get in the red temp so i took a 15min break running my secondary fans.
then some one said the words "told you, you werent going to make it no one has"
i looked at my buddy we got in the jeep i looked at him said "I figured out what i was doing wrong" he looked at me funny. I reached up turned the stereo on. put it in to 2nd gear 4low floored it grabbed third and took the hill by storm. needless to say theres a video of my jeep shooting flames climbing the hill at night.

Word is getting around
A month ago I rode with a new group(to me). Most every rig was completely locked, trailerd, atlas transfers, large tires, etc.... They took me everywhere. On the third obstacle I was dared to try I struggled a bit but made it. Only one other rig made that climb. After I circled around and came back to the group watching. I explained how I wish I had a rear locker for that climb. Should have seen the mouths drop! LOL They could not believe it wasn't locked. Heard one of the guys say "its a cherokee", another one said "yep" So the word is getting around
I am always the smallest in the group. But by the end of the day, I am not the one who was getting pulled out.

was showing my dad a video of me wheeling the rock quarry. He saw the ledge I was rolling up to and said "theres no way you crawled that" then proceeded to eat his words in the 3 minute video when the third attempt I walked it. Just had to get the right line

Man, everywhere i go people seem to e suprised at what i do with my cherokee, i don't know why so many people think they "suck" for wheeling, they are in my opinion one of the better rigs, minus the unibody. But i also know the saying its 90% driver. 10% equipment. And i am pretty confident in my off road driving abilities, i may only be 20, but i've been wheelin for 10 years, 5 as a front seat passenger, and 5 in the drivers seat, i've been complimented on my driving quite a few times
