You ever been told " That jeep aint gona make it"
This has happened to me a few times already.
I was wheeling and had a guy in a tacoma tell me " ha! get a real off road rig thats a station wagon" he also made another remark "dont break your soccer mom car"
Then a guy in a chevy said " if you wanted a off road vehicle why did you get cherokee? you should of got a wrangler or tacoma".
Now i did laugh at the guy in the tacoma because he told this to me right before i was going to do a hill climb. I was gona just try to go up it slow but once he told me that i got pist and my buddy said " dammit chris i dont wanna be out here all night" then he put his seat belt on. I backed up with the 2 guys in tacoma laughing, put the pedal to the floor and all the way up my back end going from left to right. i made it up with out breaking anything!......
After that the guy said dam that little jeep did good.
Then the chevy guy ended up seeing his truck stuck at a mud pit couple days later and he asked to be pulled out, i laughed and told him are you sure i dont want this ( non off road vehicle to get broke) he laughed and asked "please bro i dont want my dad to see his truck stuck"
My cousinc gave me a hard time also when my jeep had street tires on it i drove into a mud pit and he had to come get me out if his huge dodge 1500, when i was leaving i was gona do this stair climb, cement stairs that are 1 foot tall and like 2 foot deep and like 70 feet wide, enough to park like 40 trucks on but when u got no lockers, and slick tires its hard to get up. i made it and bent 2 of the stock rims

Back when I was wearing 31's and 2wd with an open different people would tell me that all the time I used to love it when people would say things like, hey bud lock it into 4 wheel or he's not going to try and you'll him out is he? Yall in the XJ's don't get this but when I'm out in my MJ I hear "look at that little yotta go" I just giggle because I know latter on I'll be pulling them out

Yep! This one time taking some tourists to a pretty remote beach we had to pass a very muddy incline where a Landcruiser had just gotten unstuck with the help of a friend and some rope. Those guys were pretty sure my XJ would not make it over the top and stuck around to watch.
After two attempts, I had to make my passengers walk around and go back a bit to get the speed up, but after that my Jeep almost flew halfway up and then the mud-terrains, which were the only serious off-road mod at the time, did their job.
The Toyota guys were still scratching their head when we drove on...

Happened to me a couple weekends ago. Buddy in a Tacoma said I wouldn't make it through some deep holes. (I'm 100% stock BTW) I proved him wrong. Very wrong. I asked why he didn't take his taco (3" lift with 33s and a programmer) through any thing. His response? I don't wanna scratch it up and get it dirty.. What a female dog he was that day

My fav moment was when I had a 2 inch lift and 31s and no 4 wd. My buddy with a Tacoma with 33s, 4.5 inch lift, and 4wd made fun of my jeep. He said that I wasn't going to make it through a local mud pit that was a foot deep. I drove right through it and got up on the opposite side. My buddy attempted the same hole and got his truck stuck soo bad we had to call 2 other guys out there to help winch him out.

I heard some nay saying the other day, but it was more like, OH, that thing isn't going to pull this 7000lb suburban out of that pit...
Five minutes later, they were all proved wrong. Especially the guy in the shiny, white, lifted, snorkeled, Tacoma that had a stronger winch line than me but declined to help...
And yes, those are 40" boggers on the suburban

Im driving a 100% stock xj, ive driven past tacomas and even full size pickups who were stuck in mud, ive said it time and time again, its all about the drivers, and xj drivers can get through anything because of their trust in their own rig

I havent taken this jeep off road yet. She is in the process of getting a 4in lift and some body work as well as 32x11.50.15 tires. But I did tow a car with her that I was told she couldnt. The weight broke my buddy's trailer hitch on his Chevy so we hooked up to my Jeep and proceeded to drive 101.49 miles never made it over 65mph but she hauled 6500 lbs. 3000 trailer and 3500lbs 67 Buick Special. Lol UHaul never saw that coming.
