I havent taken this jeep off road yet. She is in the process of getting a 4in lift and some body work as well as 32x11.50.15 tires. But I did tow a car with her that I was told she couldnt. The weight broke my buddy's trailer hitch on his Chevy so we hooked up to my Jeep and proceeded to drive 101.49 miles never made it over 65mph but she hauled 6500 lbs. 3000 trailer and 3500lbs 67 Buick Special. Lol UHaul never saw that coming.

I only got stuck 1 time with my 2wd and it was in a drainage ditch behind Winn Dixie that was 30 feet deep with peanut butter syrup crap mud. Ended up rocking it out. Somehow got up the hill, she overheated I shut her off she wouldn't start fr a hour than she got us home and drove 200 miles the next day.
I took mine through some serious crap. And onl
y got stuck once and I was on bald street tires. Just gotta have bawls and momentum.

lol Ive only been wrong about what my jeep would go through or up once.. And that was a large hill climb that plateaus out lol. Got about half way up when the aux fan kicked on, stalled out when the front two tires got over.. First thing that went through my mind was "well at least im gonna get to feel what its like to flop" lol
in my third cherokee a 86 with the bad v6 me and a friend were going through a mud hole and mud coming over the hood it could barely get to or stay at 55 but it could through the deepest mud where lifted chevys and fords would get stuck

My little brother said my stock XJ on Wranglers would never make it up this old logging road. It was rutted to **** and back. Old sketchy rickidy wooden bridge, going through bog water. Loose rock on those kind of inclines where you're staring at treetops and sky...
"I would only go through this on my dirt bike" he told me. I told him I could make it, not only down, but back up... In 2WD.
So I proceeded.
They only thing he could say during the ride was "****ing Christ!" and "slow the **** down!"
First time I ever witnessed this 98 XJ reach operating temp in the 3 months I've owned it.

I laughed so hard at this.
I have something similar, when I was down in WV at my cousins there was a road similar to this that they always take their Polaris Ranger down, and go shooting somewhere down the road. I said why not take the jeep. they said I wouldn't make it, and they took the polaris behind me. I had Bald street tires at the time, and it was a lot of light mud, and some little hills. there was only one section that I was a little scared, but the XJ made it just fine. I ended up waiting 20 minutes for them to get there.
