WTF.
Yesterday after work I was sitting in my 2000 xj, when this kid in a BMW opened his door HARD right into the side of my Jeep. Not noticing I was in the vehicle he makes this dumb looking face and starts to get in his car and drive away. After getting the little punks attention I point out the small but very noticeable crease/dent in my passenger side door. I was pissed but managed to control myself and did get his insurance information. I have a $500 dollar deductible and the damage is not big enough for me to want to pay to get fixed, but it's large enough to be very noticable from the right angle. I dont know it looks like this jerk is going to get away with this crap, because I don't feel like paying the money for something he did, I don't know just thought I would rant about the inconsiderate people out there, but it is freakin BS.

He damaged your property; caused injury to another party. Now he's going to have to pay for it. Report it to your insurance company and inform them he is at fault. He already gave you the insurance info. Make his insurance pay for the damage. Pretty simple. If he denies it, file a police report.

Yea you dont pay a deductible if its the a-hole's fault. On a side note. Some lil snob girl at my school who drives a scion slammed her door into my jeep once. I had my doors off and my rocker guards.... Needless to say shes the one needing a new door.

Okay sounds to me like the kids a ***** but seriously. You own a jeep dents and dings make it run better. And don. Try and get a whole repaint that's simple selfish, unless you've never gone off the pavement once it's gonna have scratches and body marks... Please don't stoop to some rich dicks level.
