Lol. Did this turn into "My daddy/mommy knows more than yours" argument? Most common used phrase in the last 20 posts: "I know this because/I know this for a fact"

Haha. Sorry, had to point it out.

Ok now for my .02 cents. Chrysler is a bunch of corporate retards. and i'm talking about the guys that actually make the decisions. (you know, the ones that voted for obama.) The only thing they care about is making money anyway possible. They will screw over anyone who doesn't go along with their egotistacal plan, and when you least expect it you will find a knife in your back (and yes I know this first hand.) Chrysler has done little to nothing to improve the Jeep brand that any half Assed company couldn't have done with the ammount of years that they have owned it. I don't think another company needs to own Jeep cause that would only put them in the same place as they are now, just with different management. For Jeep to reach its full potential it needs to be an independent company owned by people that have actually owned a jeep and taken it off pavement.

I could write about ten pages about this right now but the topic of chrysler is too close to heart so i'll stop.

Sounds like you're calling my mom one of those "corporate retards" because she is one of the people that makes the decisions..
You know nothing. The Jeep brand is selling like crazy right now and the products they've been producing are great. Watch the way you talk, there is always someone that will take offense to what you have to say. This time, that guy is me.

Jeep SRT8 was one of the coolest things any auto manufacturer anywhere has done, ever.
Yeah it wasn't an off road truck but bad-*** none the less. Sent all the other guys reeling when it launched.

Yeah! No one ever thought of a FAST SUV before Jeep came out with the Grand Cherokee SRT8. It is an awesome idea, and they beat any car with a v6 down a quarter mile strip lol.

I'd like to see Jeep do something with the wrangler that would be able to compete with the Ford SVT Raptor. I'm talking a Jeepspeed style 4 door JK with a 6.1 SRT8, Race suspension with a taller stance, 33 inch BFG A/Ts, a light bar with HIDs, HID headlights, and a different looking frond end. I'd be the first in line to buy one haha

Would be cool but Chrysler already has the Power Wagon which dominates the Raptor in everything except jumping hills.

For the times. But yeah, companies have done fast SUV. The Jeep just happened to be the fastest when it came out and took all the luxury brands down a peg or two, while costing less than half.

I love the new GC. Never really liked any models before the current ones. I only like the Black, Silver and Blue ones though. Not the other colors. If I had the money and didnt have a kid on the way I'd use the excuse "buying it for you honey" and drive it whenever I wanted. Unfortunately I dont have the funds.

Well if your mom is a chrysler CEO then I guess I was intentionality talking about her. I'm just sick of the corporate bull that is going around and the little guy getting walked all over. And i never said Jeep isn't selling, I said they haven't done anything that any other company couldn't have done and that it need to be owned independently and not by another company. and well if you took offence well I can't please everyone. someone is always going to get butt hurt no matter what you say.

If it get to long in the tooth, I'll think about again.
Agreed. JK's electronics hinder it on the highway and make it do things that make it scary to do. Offroad, it's a nightmare. It would be worth it to go through and disconnect every piece of electronic S*** on one and make it a REAL Jeep.

You should find the cause of your death wobble. I build 2-3 jk's a week and never have death wobble issues.

And that 6th gear is a dream when it comes to gearing. It allows for much more aggressive gear options while still being able drive 70mph without screaming. Which is a big complaint with a lot of my tj customers with low gearing.
The JK was entirely stock when it was bought, it had Rubi front end stuff installed in an effort to help out the wobbles but it made it horribly worse, and then the electronics freaked out and almost steered it off an embankment. I understand that the newest JKs are being built better, And I know that cheap interior shouldn't be a complaint for a real Jeep. Who knows, maybe the thing's just the ultimate factory lemon. The dealership it originally came from got it for a few weeks to fix the wobbles. They tightened everything up, couldn't cure it, put new tires on it, bam! fixed. The old tires only had maybe an eigth left, but had always been rotated correctly/kept right pressure/etc. It doesn't seem like good design to me, to do that, especially considering some of the stuff that the TJ's run. Clearly you are the expert and I'm just another consumer, but you can understand my feelings about it based on the experience we've had with either vehicle. neither Jeep's been primarily an offroad vehicle, just DDs with some get-to-a-place 4 wheeling. Like I Said, maybe we just got the lemon.
