ah. if it was a 2004 there are a ton of goodies on it. I don't know what other years work
most of it is pretty damn expensive to swap over though

They engine in a wj was a clean sheet design of the 4.0 but they will work in an xj 00 and 01 model with the coil packs all that needs to be done is some grinding on the passenger side and drill and tap a few bosses (been in contact with someone who has done the swap)...but to all the nay Sayers do not worry I will be doing a write of with lots of pics and a step by step how to but may be a week or two till I get aroun to it as the xj's motor is currently being removed as I have spare time to do so! But I feel that the write up will be of great use to everyone as the engines tend to have low low miles. Like the one I found only has 20k miles on it!!!
