Hello....so I hve access to a wj that pretty much anyhing is fair game...I mainly wanted the front seats but there is all a complete interior with I've head console and cd player...so my question is why should I take lol! Like what would swap?

Overhead console would be useful, but I don't think you would be able to get the built-in computer to talk to your wiring in your XJ... CD player (I'm assuming it's factory) is different - in the WJ, they used a cd player with more rounded off corners than is in the XJ - you may be able to fab up something, but IMO not worth it. The inside of the interior of the WJ is very curvey and rounded - there's not much else except for all of the seats that will work - there are write-ups on here about how to install GC rear seats into XJ's - just use the search function...

and as previously stated, make sure you post in the correct section - this would be better off in OEM or Advanced tech - or simply the "ask the question" thread

A WJ engine won't work in an XJ, the mounts are located in different places and some of the holes needed for mounting brackets are not there.
