Just a random thread. How much power are you running??? I have a 320amp alt. its red to match the jeep.

That's a beastly little alternator you have there.

Judging your profile picture "chow audio" I bet you need it too for all the audio equipment in your Jeep.

I'm still running the stock alternator, but I pulled a 136 amp alternator from a Dodge Durango that I plan to swap in some time before next year.

How many amps to you pull?
When loaded, does it draw down your idle?

mines a 136amp from a 98 zj

also runnin 5-90s cable upgrade with a 150amp resetable circuit breaker instead of the anl fuse the kit comes with

90 amps... it seems to charge up my battery OK. Do I need more?
At least it's a powder coated re-furb so it's nice and shiny!

Stock 117a alt, standard with the 97+ Sport trim package.

I have a custom wound 157 amp. and Kelly's (590's) complete 200 amp. wiring upgrade kit, a really nice kit he has and a member here also.
