. Found this on amazon says its an axle lock kit but its deffinetly not a locker Im confused on what its purpose is/what it does. anyone know?

 

Kinda looks like the parking brake cable

 

It's the parts you'd use on a manual locking diff

 

Older xj have a vac. actuator to engage the 4wd on the front axle. Prone to fail on the trails. This is a posi lok.

 

They said its for a dana 30

You can just mod it & throw the vacuum stuff away, then it's just like a 1 piece axle.

Ahhhh I see now its for the older dana 30s

 

91 and older.

 

On there website it says 95 and older

 

Probably because the Wrangler used it til 95. XJs quit using it half way through 1991.

 

Ahh I gotya I had honestly never heard of that design. Ive heard of lock out hubs and stuff like that. (Im even in automotive class in highschool) learn something new everyday
