Got a buddy of mine offering to sell me a HD steering rod? I know the name of most all the steering components under my jeep and a "steering rod" doesnt pop into my head... Am i missing something? Or is there a second alias i dont know about for a track bar which is what im guessing he's talking about

 

I'm sure he means tie rod. The bar that connects the drag link to the driver's side steering knuckle.

 

Thats what i was thinking.. but i asked him "what is it? like a track bar, tie rod, pitman arm?" and he just said .... its a steering arm... lmao
maybe theres some magic steering component no one's heard of before...

 

Its the rod that prevents death wobble. It's the latest on the market.

LMAO lowrange2, its for the "new age" wheelers 50 bucks, prolly get him down to $35-$40 easy. I've never heard them called that before, ive only heard them called a tie rod.. lmao thats why it confused the hell out of me
