I paid $2,000 for my '97, 4 Door, NP241, @ 142,000 with a year old exhaust back in October of '10, from my brother. It was and still is a stock DD. Ive done some body mods so far and fixed all rust inside and out. Bedlined Half and cut out the rockers. Here's how she sits as of now. Like everyone else I have a List the never ends, and a desire to see it be built. The number 1 problem at this point is money
.
As of now to be a back to normal she needs:
- Both window regulators on the right (Passengers) sides.
- Check Valve in the fuel pump.
- A New Trackbar, and all 3 Tierod ends (To Pitman Arm, To Centerlink, To Drivers Steering Knuckle.
To Be a beast:
3.5 Rustys Spring Pack
Interioir Finshed being rhinolined
Weld In Rocker Box Steel
Better Tires (Currently Hankook H727, <<<< Hate THEM Dam A/S
)
ChryCo. 8.25 or Dana 44 in the rear ( Currently a Turdy-Five)

Paid $1500 for this 2001 4dr 4wd with 135k on the clock.
I just purchased it Dec 2011.
Had stock wheels and tires and no lift at time.
Took advantage of some killer sales right before Christmas and Added a RE 3.5" Lift with full leafs and the 31/10.5/15 BFG AT'S AND DC-2 Wheels.

my 89 set me back $500... it already had the 3 inch coils and leafs on it... everything electrical works and i drove it two and a half hours home... guy just didnt need it anymore
89 limited, $500, everything works even the AC was still charged. PO said it had a blown head gasket, turned out the belt was lose and sliping over the W/P. Replaced some old parts and flushed the radiator, now she runs like a champ.
96 xj for free, needed battery and rear end. Had 140,xxx . Still got it 3 years later as my dd and it still runs like a champ with 215,xxx. No major work just wear and tear ! Jeeps are the ONLY way to go !
