Got mine with 134k on the odo. Used rough country 3 inch lift, WJ lower control arms, air in the brake lines. Rear main seal leak. And a bunch of pine barren sugar sand. But not bad for 350

In 2008, I inherited my '91 Limited XJ. (From my mother) Stock, with 64,000 miles on it. The only real issue was the sagging headliner, and the crappy stock stereo. Premium model at the time, but the speakers where rotted out. Now it's at 70,800 miles.

Quote: My P.O. left me a Lund visor (so glad), window deflectors, spoiler-esqe thing, and a **** ton of electrical problems.
He also left me about two bucks in change, a scratched cd, a cargo cover, paperwork (manual, original window sticker, dealer checklist), and a few cigarettes

243,000 miles, Broken frame at steering box, large holes in the floor on both sides (could have easily dropped the family pet through), fail to start problem, bent front end parts and bad axle bearings in the D44,

The bright side.... it has a 3 inch lift, D44 and only cost me $150

Sucks about the bleach... my dad had a battery leak in the back seat of his truck... looked pretty nasty. He just threw a carpet floor mat over it. Not exactly elegant but it works.

rusted up brackets to a cd changer, the cd changer control unit behind the stock radio still attached to the fire wall. Also the cords for the unit were laying across the car.

There was also an insane amount of mud/dirt underneath every single part of the interior and engine. I took apart the dash and doors to do radio/speakers and ended up cleaning out all the dirt and armoralling the inside parts.

Good things: Mine came with a Rusty's lift, Air Raid Intake and 16 inch wheels which really give it a nice look. I haven't decided if the rims are stock or not.

Questionable things: A broken off wiper switch which works in one speed (fast) and suspicious burns (doobie?) in the seat & headliner fabric.

Bad things: A cracked trac-bar loop end (found out when it broke) and dangerously loose steering gearbox, which I've replaced.

All in all: I love it.

When I got my XJ, my PO gave to me...

12 minor door dings
11 shorted electrical wires
10 interior stains
9 worn out bushings
8 missing roof rack clips
7 bad bulbs
6 worn out plugs

5 BURNED UP RINGS!

4 bad tires
3 busted windows
2 holes in the dash
1 fantastic XJ I wouldn't trade for nothin!

Ok a little dramatic, and only partially true and nothin cost more than a few dollars to replace it's just weird the things people will put up with for years that can be easily fixed. I'm glad I got to do all the mods myself like the lift, etc. I knew there was no way this thing had been abused offroad with two collapsed springs and 31's on stock suspension... couldn't even go down my driveway w/o bottoming out!
