I just wanna see what people bought with their cherokee when they got it. What mods were already on it... could be fun.
Might see how many are bought instead of built...
My P.O. left me a Lund visor (so glad), window deflectors, spoiler-esqe thing, and a **** ton of electrical problems.

Our dealer left us a new stereo but that's pretty much it but he never installed it. He left us bad corroded/stripped battery terminals and dirty brown antifreeze but minor fixes lol

All I got was a large oily brown stain on the front driver side carpet, that refused to come out. I'd shampoo it, extract it, whatever, it would fade & come right back. I'm a cleaning professional & for years that stain kicked my butt until last Spring when I had to yank the carpet. Pressure washed that sucker right out - after getting rid of the nasty factory padding that was holding the stain in.
Other than that, at 10 years old w/ 79k miles, she was in pretty good condition. Both front bump stops had been cut out tho. Never understood that.

Bought my cherokee with the lift, wheels and tires, and one of the oldest crappiest flip out screen stereo from like the 1920's that didnt even have a cd player.lol That i soon replaced with a kenwood and 2 12" subs. O and an they left me with a dang oil leak
And ya i guess you could say mine was bought not built, but technically i traded my lifted f150 with 35's that i did ALL the work on, so in a way you can say it was built not bought.lol

My P.O. left me with....how should I say this, a time bomb? 32 miles after I bought it I spun a rod bearing. Somehow the oil got too hot and out of nowhere, a knock. Good thing I had a Jasper rebuild with 30,000mi. sitting around! I can't really complain though. I bought it (a 2000) in 2007 with 75,000mi. for $3,500. After I told him about the engine he gave me $500 back. So pretty much $3,000 for a 2000 with 75,000 but I had to put an engine in it. Pretty good condition too.

Mine came with a 2" BB and 30" BFG's, window vent thingies, 2 new brake shoes in the box, oil leaks and a bad radiator as well as electrical problems.
The best thing it came with would have to be the remote start. I love this item on cold winter mornings. It makes going to work a little easier.

Bad shocks with one bolt broke off on both rears and windows that only work from the drivers door. Can't really put those on the PO though since so many have the same problem that's all Chrysler. Mine was well maintained by the PO so can't complain.
