Just have to snap the bolts then separate the box and spacer from the body. Snap the spacer into pieces and leaving the "nuts" on the broken bolts. Heat up the nuts, not too much to ruin the seals in the box. Turn the nuts off and turn the bolts out with vise grips. Easy.

5-760X is a Spicer part number. They are the stronger variant of 5-297X U joints.
They are not compatible with the 5-260X as they use a smaller cap. Any ABS shafts, or shafts from a 1996 or newer XJ or TJ use the larger joints.

Ah, a firefighter, I see.
Our 1050 is traffic stop, 1053 is returning to station, 1058 is out of service for veh maintenance/refueling, don't have a 1076, and 1024 is when someone hit the orange button on their radio and the emergency tone goes off all across the channel.
Our FD, both city and county, use plaintext. Per ICS and NIMS, everyone's SUPPOSED to be going to plaintext anyway... but we both know FEMA can't control what departments do when not in ICS mode. As long as your plaintext during a multi-agency response, you're compliant.
Yup, that's a common one shared here. 1028 is license plate, 1029 is records check (essentially, has some form of infraction or criminal history)
Alright, as much as I could go on about 10-codes and signals, back on topic.
I almost got into an accident with it this morning after dropping the boys off for school. I was sitting at the "T" intersection for Chestnut and Baseline. Just SOUTH of the intersection is a convenience store. Jackwagon decided to put is right turn signal on 100 yards (no exaggeration) from Chestnut road so he could turn into the convenience store. So after seeing him decrease his speed with his turn signal on so far away, I inferred that he was turning on Chestnut rd. Nope. Almost caused a nice little pileup
There's supposed to be standard or "general use" 10 codes but it seems everyone changes at last one or two codes. Around here 10-100 means automatic alarm, at home it was "nature call", thought that was kinda funny.
I'm on vfd, our pages are done in plain English "You are needed at blabla for bla", we also get a text and phone app notification.
M:HWY 65 AT SHEFFIELD IN FRONT OF CASEYS
10-50 UNKNOWN INJURIES
3 VEHS
M:RECEIVED CALL 1053
REPAGE 1058
10-76 1101
ON SCENE 1102
10-24 BACK AT STATION 1152

Sadly 1053 and 1058 were our times. We're usually not that slow, but it was raining like 2 inches an hour and our repeater was acting up, a lot of guys didn't hear the first page so they didn't get going to station until the text message which usually comes a couple mins later.
Station is 12mi from dispatch, so if the repeater isn't working you don't hear much.
I work right in the middle so I usually hear it fine, I was almost there when they repaged.
Swore at mine. Damn iac sticks and I have to smack it with my pliers. I'm sure the neighbors love when it starts and instantly holds 2000 rpm at 730am.

Yeah I got tired of the faded orange/white, I originally painted them the stock orange, but I want it to look more like my dad's LJs cluster so I went with red. Although I say painted, in reality I used a sharpie. Lol.

Whatever works lol. I picked up green, blue, and orange model paint when I did the gauges in my old F150. I may or may not use one of those

I can understand the theory, but in my experience it's untrue. Could depend on mechanical vs electric? But I don't see those tiny fractions of a ounce making a noticeable difference
