well dang, lol, maybe I'm just used to the stock saggy suspension. I'd still say it's at least a 1" maybe 2" lift. I'll get better pics in the light tomorrow. Also, the top of my tire is level with the bottom of the trimmed rear quarter panel. Your tire is about an 1" or 2" above that line.Originally Posted by Basslicks
Stock suspension with the same trimming you did on 235/75r15s.... I'll let you be the judge.

lol... yeah, that's why I said you be the judge.. I also didn't know what tire size you currently have on it. Bastard lifts get pretty subjective so it's best to just get different viewpoints. Really best if you can find a friend with the tires you want, take your tire off, and bolt theirs on (or at least lean it up to your hub, centered in place).Originally Posted by 93XJeeper

But, that should give you an idea anyway. I'd say you've got probably about 1.5-2"

measure from top of axle tube to bottom of "frame" rail, iirc, 6" is stock length/height at this point in the rear. Any extra will be how much it has lifted!Originally Posted by 93XJeeper

Driving this thing, my cool factor has diminished to zero but comfort levels have been greatly increased.
And my little boy can safely get in and out on his own without risk of falling three feet to the ground or having to maneuver over rock slider tubes. And he loves the sunroof.

I just measured and it's at 9.5". So got a 3.5" lift, wow, didn't think I'd get that much.Originally Posted by bumblefox

Nice! Just keep in mind, the pack is probably going to settle some. So you might loose a little. But, if the s10 you got the leafs from still had its weight on the springs, it may only be about a half inch. You can easily overcome that with some longer shackles, or adjustable position shackles.Originally Posted by 93XJeeper

That's why I like ZJs. Decent v8 cheap and super comfy. Good thing you didn't get the 4.7. I've heard they're quite the mess.Originally Posted by SteveMongr

The earlier 4.7s were the problem. The 2002+ with the 4.7 HO were revamped and the problematic heads were redesigned.Originally Posted by rcguymike
