I've done it. Replace the center pin when you pull them apart.

I used some gloss black enamel paint, but then did a graphite coating on mine before I reassembled. Worked awesome.

Found a fresh kill in the salvage yard with factory-tint side glass, so now I'm tinting my windows in the most masochistic way possible. But I won't have to deal with peeling film after a couple of years of sun, heat and humidity.

Today was A/C repair day. Got the clutch air gap down to the lower limit of .016" and did away with that annoying slippage.

Took a test drive that mysteriously took me by the golf course, and by sheer coincidence I had my clubs with me so I decided a quick 18 were in order.

Same thing happens to me when I go by lakes, ponds, rivers, etc... Seems like I always have a rod & reel in the truck.

Installed a push button start in my 88 laredo. Had to bypass the switch. It stopped working and I figured this was easier and cooler than replacing the switch.

i installed it in my lighter socket. I plan on add some 12v sockets soon to make up for it soon.

Yup... shows about the same result as my Tire Size Calculator app - OEM tire size on mine was 195/75r15 according to the door sticker which matches my vin.

OK. That's cool but weird. If somebody breaks the glass they can steal your ride. But it's still cool. You need to come up with a new label to paint over the cigarette. Maybe like "turbo boost" or "self destruct".

It's a Renix Cherokee. They aren't that hard to steal. I could start my Comanche with no key on the ignition. Even if his isn't that bad, there were only about 14 different keys used in those years. If you carry around that key ring, you can start up any '87-90 XJ

First off, the button is only for Start, not Ignition On.

Secondly, who'd wanna steal a Renix Jeep?

That's my point! I actually want to do push-button start on my YJ, but I've been a little more focused on getting it on the road again

But you need to be able to start it to get it on the road...
