Got the old hub off after using the socket method, a pickle fork, torch, and hammer. Went to tighten up the new spicer ball joint nuts and with my luck from the upper dropping out of the cup the first two threads to the cotter pin hole are damaged so looks like I'll be picking up a new napa upper ball joint tomorrow morning. Finish that up tomorrow by 10am and finish the axle u joint after classes with 5 hours to spare, I think i'll be fine.
Drove it on snowy/icy roads for the first time with the welded diff. If you have decent tires for snow, it's not scary at all. Very predictable, won't slide unless I punch it

Put on a ZJ tie rod since I bent my stock tie rod really badly while off road. Thanks to forum member Solicit for hooking me up with the part, and helping me with the install. It's always nice to learn something new!

Started my adjustable leaf hangers. Keeping the stock bolt for added shear strength as well as 2 3/8" bolts through the floor. The piece welded to the floor pan is 1/8" and everything else is 1/4". I'll grab more pics of the drivers side tomorrow and what I'm doing with the shackle boxes. Total stretch is about 3.5".

Damn man that sucks good thing you're ok. From the picture you posted the damage doesn't look too bad. Hopefully it doesn't get totaled out. You should make the insurance cover a New off road bumper!
