Not in my area where I live. I haven't met a cop that was fit enough to run a criminal down. They all are obese here. I don't think they can chase someone who's walking away. But they love pulling people over for so random things. Like tire being one inch on the yellow stripe on the road, it's considered "weaving" but it's really people trying to make a left turn I'm not dissing las enforcement anywhere, I'm specifically dissing the law enforcement in my town

I know of two cops who had problems with steering their cars because of their stomaches. To get in, they would have to actually hold their belly and sit in and pull the belly across the steering wheel. To get out, it ll take them a couple mins and I can see the car rocking cause they are struggling to get out. I just think the cop pay should be based on performance, not because of tenure.

I stopped at the red light once and I accidentally stopped with my sedan's bumper 6 inches over the white line. And after 30 seconds, the lights started flashing and he ticketed me (not for obstructing the pedestrian walkway, BUT for running the red light) c'mon I mean, really? I was parked there for more than 30 seconds waiting for the light to turn green and he's giving me a ticket for running the light? I would have been fine with a ticket for obstructing the ped walkway because it's my fault.

Why would they lie on the ticket? What do they have to gain from it? Good thing I fought it at the court because I had friends who was following me in another car. He was suspended for falsifying tickets for a month.
And the biggest reason why I don't have any respect for the cops (IN MY TOWN), I am deaf and they would refuse to get interpretors for me, and almost always refuse to write on pen and paper, they would insist to try make me read their lips. It's frustrating sometimes

For us the local Sheriff department is full of good ol' boys. Easy going and friendly. The NC State Troopers are whole different story... One of them pointed a gun at me for an infraction, and he said "the surfboards on your roof doesn't help your case". Surfer profiling....
Prepping the jeep for a ride to 'Cape Point' where the Gulf Stream traveling North, meets the Labrador Current going South. Creates a dangerous area known as 'Graveyard of the Atlantic'. Over 1000 shipwrecks lie in the waters and on the beach.

Sunken Jeep. Salt water loves metal. This was mine once.
Still running now though.
