Damn dude. How cold is it up there that you COMPLETELY blocked it? Or do you remove some when you drive? They look pretty neat! Do they clip in?
Thanks! Theres a small threaded screw on the top and bottom of each insert, and they thread in a plate behind the grill and sandwich it together. Nah I took half of them out. However there are some days that I could put them all in lol. I just jeep a screwdriver handy to put them in or whatever.
These are going to be flush-mounted in the back bumper for backup lights. This 30-inch combo spot/flood bar is going to be mounted on the front of my roof-rack. Apparently, Rambo will thank me.....................
I'm trying to put some of those pods in my bumper also. Are you running a stock rear bumper? When you install can you snap a few pictures of hole size and fitment?
Took a short road trip to Las Vegas today to pick up some aluminum Wrangler wheels from a fellow forum member and a roof rack. I only needed one piece from the roof rack, but the price was good enough on the entire rack, and I might be able to find a use for the extra roof spars.
The Brown Dog engine mounts were delivered today. I forgot to order the transmission mount, so that'll happen tonight. I'm also going to try out one of those aluminum tie rods. It's a little expensive, but I like cutting unsprung weight.

Stock bumper? I'd like to know how that goes because that's on my list of to-do projects.
Quote; Firehawk068 Received my new LED lights today! Sweet, Those must have set you back a pretty penny! I would like to get a set of like that some day.
Yea its backwards but, what did my Cherokee do to me? Well it reminded me that the hatch lift cylinders still need replacing. Neck is still sore from it. Lol

Best fix I ever did to my XJ. Better than the two times it wouldn't start lol

They were relatively inexpensive, compared to my winch. I ordered them from a seller on e-bay.

I am running the stock rear bumper.
I'll post up some pics when I install them. (after it warms up some here)

Lawlz. My 98 would do that to me all the time but very slowly. Basically, I'd be back there doing stuff and by the time I was done, I couldn't leave...
Picked up some different wheels/tires. 31x10.5 Geolanders ATs on 10 hole OEMs.
I've dealt with Geolanders before and loved them. Initial impressions on the XJ are they are lighter and SO MUCH quieter than the Guard Dogs. I also like the look better - I really wasn't a fan of the eccos being blacked out.

And before you say anything, yes, I know. That trim adhesive is embarrassing...
