Regarding the "underpowering" a subwoofer stuff (I was going to quote everyone but got lazy...)
There is no actual problem with putting an amplifier with a power rating lower than the driver it's connected to. The issue is actually caused by the dingbat turning the ***** and turns the gain up too high. This creates clipping, which is when a sine wave (which sound is normally) gets amputated at the peaks and starts looking more like a square wave. This distortion is bad for circuity in the amp (overdriven), but more importantly the square waves kill coils and surround material fast. Remember, the coil is an electromagnet. In normal operation a sinusoidal signal allows for gradual movement of the assembly back and forth. Clipped waves are violent to the assembly and tend to create more heat.
So... don't expect your 500W amp to perform like it's a 1000W.
(I used to work in live audio)

Installed the Rampage H4 headlight conversion kit, installed the putco wiring harness and swapped out my chrome grille and headlight bezels with black ones.
Unfortunately, one of the headlight housings came out of the box already cracked. Quadratec was real good about it though and they're sending me a replacement housing asap. Probably UPS' fault.

I broke one today, I have 2 10" subs mounted on top of eachother, on a quick take off they slam into my rear hatch....anyway they flew sideways (I drive like a rally car driver) and the bottom sub hit my toolbox and punctured it.... Gunna wait for a car toys sale to replace it
