No. He would've been in an ambulance. That bumper absorbed a ridiculous amount of inertia. The 3/16" steel split up the middle and folded 1ft. Then the sway bar made contact and, along with the motor, took the rest of the impact. That JCR bumper was his crumple zone.

Yes, 1.25". Friend of mine took them off his YJ and sent them to me for free. Soft 8's are out of my budget for now.

Understandable. Check out US Wheel on Summit. Cheap steel wheels. Serious Offroad does sales on them sometimes, too.

I broke both my turn signal markers today helping my89xj move Barney to a resting place.

Yeah. You are right. I helped this guy fix an XJ that got into a fight with an old dodge pickup. It bent up the steal brackets attached to the bumper something awful. He cut them off and welded on a fab bumper.

Ah, didn't realize it was THAT bad. Looking at the pic you just posted has a better angle.

Nice.

I know they're cheap. But, for now, they are not a necessity. I'm about to start buying the parts I need to go up another 1.5". Although with the new 33's, I gotta jump out now to avoid all the mud on the rocker. Lol

Oh, my dirtbound winch bumper should ship tomorrow. Whoop.
