Installed one of these! Never replaced this since my engine swap a year and half ago.
Last weekend i added some Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF to the t/c. It was bone dry
Also greased everything from my last wheeling trip. Installed a new tie rod dust boot on the track bar and tightened the bracket as well. Finally got to vacuum the interior and straightened the cargo area.
Everything was well over due in my opinion. 3 day weekend, maybe I'll get to wheel?

Gave my suspension a work out.
I got off work early today so, I drove out to a salvage yard to look for some miscellaneous parts (rear bumber, end cap, headlight bezel, etc.). It rained all day yesterday and with 15+ XJ's scattered out over 65 acres, I wasn't about to try and walk it so, I took the Jeep. I stayed in 2wd most of the time but, there were a few places where the water was about axle deep and too slippery to get out of in 2wd...............4x4 works great BTW.
I never did find the items I was looking for so it ended up being a 50 mile round trip drive to go play in the mud for a little while.

Pff, My local junkyard is a joke. The owner/Manager is some old fat guy who's a total jackass to everyone. I don't think he even works on cars, he didn't know what an Axel stop was, and tried to charge me $50 for one.
They won't even let you drive into the yard.
