Yeah I don't think the switch being removed would work cause then the window won't go down, try rebuilding the switch instead.

Those were my first and second thoughts as well. As for a third, why would you buy a "Wrangler" and mod it so taking the top off is a pain in the ***?

Looks like a 4-door JK... explains everything... probably a Pavement Princess

I just cut the trim. Removing it in one piece is very hard to do.

Trimmed front fenders
