Washed and waxed it, turns out it's metallic, huh. Going to grab some lunch do the diff and paint some stuff.

 

It would most certainly be a torx. You may have to grab the head with vice-grips if the bolt is messed up. Otherwise I would suggest a dremel to grind 2 sides flat enough to get an adjustable crescent wrench on it.

I got lucky on my 91 it's an actually bolt head!

Easier said than done. I spent 15 minutes arguing with my mom to get the Cherokee in first. I had to give in because i was about to say things that would've made me homeless.

It's gonna be cheaper for me to have AAMCO fix the tranny, since i don't have any of the tools needed.
