started working on my BB. i opened the jy leafs i got last week, wire brushed most of the rust off and cut an eye and a half before my last cutting wheel shattered like a glas house in the middle of a baseball field. so i went to home depot and they dont carry that wheel for my rotozip anymore. so i went to harbour freight and bought a new 4.5" angle grinder. got home and the wife made dinner. so now everything is waiting for the light of day. maybe tomorrow i can finish chopping springs.

nothing today, I was out plowing all night so I am resting. Yesterday I cleaned about 2/3 of the gunk off the valve cover though. Need some simple green to finish it up.
got my battery and alternator tested. battery was good, alternator was 60amps at 2000rpm's but 5amps at idle... i'm not sure if it's supposed to do that. it feels like it's gonna turn off when it's on idle cuz it's not getting enough power... also just dropped a bunch of lucas injector cleaner just in case it's the fuel system.

Just finshed sanding off the rust and touching up the rock sliders. Got a wheeling trip coming up this Saturday and I have to start with them fresh and unscratched every trip.

(no action pics it was raining at the time)

took this pick from inside the jeep (sorry about no action shots, like i said it was raining and the GF didnt want to get out)

might not look deep but it was up to about my lower door, some was coming in through the bottom part of my door...and off to the right its a line about 100ft of that same gooey ****...plus about a 3 acre open feild to play around in...
i had a pretty fun day...
and BTW aircruiser that thing looks sick with those 35's...even though it look as if it would rub like crazy on those front fenders...

Get a haynes manual. They're really handy. About $15.
I tightened my serpentine, still not fixing the rub.
