If you find on your 2020 Cherokee (I have a high altitude) not having the SOS button on mirror not functioning or the Uconnect remote start not working, don't bother with dealer or working with Guardian/Uconnect phone help.
I brought brand new vehicle in two times, spent an hour on phone with Uconnect.
Finally, direct contact to Uconnect and their engineering people........Known issue. They will have a fix for SOS button on rear view mirror by March and for remote access on Uconnect the "earliest" by April.
The memo I saw told dealers not to replace mirror or radio, as it will just keep happening. There was a change to the CAM software (whatever that is) and they are working on it.
Remarkable that dealers don't know or tell you this, and Uconnect help is clueless.
I have requested my "free" subscription begin when this is fixed, not from delivery of vehicle. I have used the Guardian/Uconnect on previous Chrysler products and it was flawless. This is only, apparently the 2020 models and presumably on the Cherokee.

 

I received the update on my display this morning for the uconnect SOS and other emergency features, looks like a 30 minute download while key is off.
