When you work at a Chrysler dodge and jeep dealer and you ask to look at pricing on a part and they ask you if it's a grand Cherokee or a sport (cherokee) even tho you say 95 jeep Cherokee and the guy has seen the jeep!

You ever replaced a, uh, ANYTHING on a Toyota MR2? Fuel pump took about 9 hours, water pump about ten hours, Timing belt took about 3-1/2 hours. Then my friend and I went out doing burnouts and drifting in the rain and the next day the engine blew up. In the 8 months my buddy has owned that car it has ran for 3 months.

As i was welding together my roof rack in progress in the driveway my dad pulls up pissed as all hell.
"WHAT THE BEEP ARE YOU DOING NOW!? YOUR SPENDING MORE MONEY??? YOU LEAVE FOR COLLEGE IN LESS THAT TWO WEEKS? WHEN ARE YOU GONNA STOP. FIRST THE LIFT, THEN TIRES, THE SHOCKS, AND NOW THIS!?!"
He was furious.
And to that i simply said...
"Would you rather i spend a little money and time on this roof rack or would you rather i go blow it on drugs and beer, and get arrested and go to jail?"
He saw my point.
When i first got the jeep any mods were completely out of the question, atleast that's what my dad said. Now, i act first and then ask for forgiveness. I paided for the jeep, i pay the insurance, i pay for the repairs, i pay for the gas. As far as Im concerned, if i pay that much for everything, Im gonna have some fun while Im at it!
