1 week goes by and there dodge neon is in a ditch. i get a call, hey..... could you pull my car out and give us a ride home if it doesnt work? me- ugh fine but i want $10 gas $$!!! them- fine.. so i go pull it out and its dead! so i pulled it to a turn around area on the side of the road and took them home!

did i mention it was 105F that day? haha!

my parents always give me crap about buying xj stuff right? so one time when i bought something my mom said why do u keep dumping $$ into that old jeep? and i said why does dad keep dumping money on you then? haha bad idea...... lost the jeep and all driving for a week!

Parents are like that. My mom doesn't get it, but she likes my Jeep because it's 'nice' and 'fun to drive, for a truck'. Dad totally gets it, though. Caught him tearing around a dirt parking lot getting air on the bumps when he was supposed to just be going to get it to pick me up since I was sore (dislocated knee, floating knee cap due to torn ligaments, broken shoulder in 3 places. Motorcycles are fun, until you hit the ground!). He's been pretty supportive of the rebuild, and is the one who hinted I should build a stroker since I'll have the motor out anyway.
